(This is for whomever can and really wishes to understand)
1. The Land Restitution Case began exactly 14 years ago, in 2005, when an enemy of then Mayor Radu Mazare named Constantin Cucoara – former head of the Constanta Land Registry, recently hired by the DNA (National Anticorruption Directorate), started a criminal investigation, probably as a first call of duty. Since this case was an obvious flop, without any real merit, the police and prosecutors ruled out the criminal case and closed the investigation. The very day after he was named Chief Prosecutor, Mr. Tulus ordered the case to be reopened and assigned it to other DNA investigators under specific orders to get Mazare. President Traian Basescu himself wanted Mazare’s head on a stick. The DNA prosecutors sent inspectors to the City Hall of Constanta and retrieved 2 trucks full of papers dead set on digging out the slightest wrongdoing. That was not wrong in itself, but as they could not find much they felt the pressure from above. Finally, after an investigation that lasted 3 years, they put together a case, wrote a ludicrous indictment ridiculed by every attorney involved and took it to trial. The two accusations that founded it were:
First, they claimed that considerable damage had been done based on an inspection report drawn up by two DNA experts. One of these experts was a grandpa whose competence was limited to doing the math, as he himself testified in court; the other was, surprise, Constantin Cucora, the new DNA hire who had also filed the complaint. One detail should be pointed out: neither was legally qualified to assess real estate prices and therefore provide an objective opinion on the potential damage. Well, based on the numbers produced by these “specialists”, not experts, the DNA issued the infamous Indictment in which the prosecutors made up some astronomical figures they called damage. Of course the media and the public exploded. The result? For 11 years journalists kept mentioning the damage amount originally announced by the DNA in this case, namely 114 million Euros. Granted, it is an enormous number, but the land it referred to was equally vast, millions of square meters, as the Land Restitution Case was in fact made of 6 huge and completely separate cases involving the largest areas reclaimed and recovered in Constanta. Seen from this angle, given the area on which property rights were reconstituted, the damage amount no longer seems so spectacular. Of course, no one bothered to point out such details, because everyone’s attention was grabbed by the figure itself.
The second founding accusation had to do with the City Hall allegedly returning large pieces of public land to the claimants, which was illegal.
But let us suppose all is fine so far. The problem is that the land and appraisal survey report ordered by the court of first instance, i.e. the Court of Appeal of Bucharest, and conducted by two authorized experts, not “specialists”, clearly showed two things:
The damage in this case as it relates to the differences in prices mentioned is NON EXISTENT!
Not even one INCH of public land was returned!
Did you read that, dear journalists? Were you curious enough to read the case file or interview the attorneys who could have provided such information? If you did not, how professionally did you report the facts? If you did, how do you explain your one-sided reporting in this case? I am simply asking these rhetorical questions because every single piece of news about this case mentioned only the prosecutors’ original press release. There was no journalistic treatment for the purpose of finding out and reporting the truth. None of you mentioned the official survey report filed which COMPLETELY contradicted DNA’s original press release which all of you quoted in every single news item about this case.
Since the case was never reflected accurately in the media, with highly emphatic reports that always only mentioned the damage amount MADE UP by the DNA “specialists”, the public opinion was extremely surprised that the court of first instance – the Court of Appeal of Bucharest – gave a sentence that seemed too lenient when compared to the absurdities appearing in the press, which relied exclusively on the DNA Indictment. Despite the pressure from the media and intelligence services, this sentence was not entirely unfair. No journalist mentioned the survey report on file which acknowledged there WAS NO damage. But of course the press was only chasing the sensational and not interested in truth and fact.
So what happened next at the HCCJ [High Court of Cassation and Justice], the stronghold of the intelligence services, as recently proven, as a result of the declassification of the Protocols which the CCR [Constitutional Court of Romania] declared illegal anyway? It’s simple. Amid this mass hysteria fueled by the scope of the case and so-called damage, by the celebrity names involved – some of whom faced additional criminal charges in separate cases and were the object of public hatred (Mazare, Constantinescu, Borcea) – the case was “randomly” assigned to the infamous Black Panel led by the even more infamous judge, Ionut Matei. We must especially consider the fact that the DNA was hard pressed to become again the “guardian angel” of Romanian justice and was in dire need to restore its good name despite the constant media revelations of its abuses, clearly demonstrated as of late. From the very beginning it was obvious that everyone involved in this case needed to worry that a criminal conviction was going to be given against most of them regardless of the actual evidence on file, the defense’s arguments and the actual culpability or innocence of those indicted. This became all the more clear at the first hearing when Presiding Judge, Ionut Matei (who had missed the first scheduled hearing due to the Referendum case and had been replaced) ordered the attorneys to submit conclusions on the merits and finalize the case at the following hearings set on consecutive days. As mentioned before, this was a monster case with 90 volumes and 36 defendants made of 6 huge cases merged into one. Realistically, the judges would not have had the physical time to even quickly scan all the materials on file. But then of course in the 10-hour daily hearings that followed, in an unusually rushed manner, the judges rejected every single one of the over 20 pleas of unconstitutionality and perfectly fair motions submitted by the attorneys. There was even a comical moment when the judges omitted to allow the reading of one of the pleas and rejected it without formally hearing it.
It was clear that the judges were biased by the fact that Mazare was indicted in many other cases and had fled the country, that Borcea and Constantinescu had prior convictions – and therefore had no credibility and the Indictment, culminating in a humongous damage amount obsessively repeated in the press, as shown above, seemed bulletproof. The result was an EXECUTION: the court almost indiscriminately convicted left and right: everyone involved received criminal convictions amounting to many years in prison.

2. The Presiding Judge of the High Court ILLEGALLY constituted the 3-judge panels and obviously assigned the case in violation of the random principle and as a result this panel of judges EXECUTED us. On a side note, does anyone really believe that the case was assigned randomly to this particular and infamous panel? Please! And if assignment was targeted – and it obviously was – why did they do it? Evidently, they were preparing said EXECUTION. By law, the illegal constitution of the panel shall result in the annulment of the decision given in this case! The story concerning the illegal constitution of 5-judge and 3-judge panels makes a lot of sense and must be dealt with by the Government and Parliament under the decisions of the Constitutional Court. I am very well placed to know this as someone who was at the receiving end of such illegality and abuse.
3. One of the convicted persons in this case, Giurgiucanu Georgica, was right to point out that the leadership of the High Court falsely enforced Decision 80/2017 concerning the appointment of panels in 2018. The media had already reported on this on many occasions. But Decision 80/2017 DOES NOT EXIST and neither does the minutes of this decree supposedly given by the Ruling Board of the High Court. Giurgiucanu went so far as to alert the Judicial Inspection and the CSM [High Council of the Magistracy], and he filed a criminal complaint. Not a very smart decision, it turned out, as less than two months later he was given 5 years and 6 months in prison. Unfortunately, I was part of the same contract, legally tied to him, so I was given the same conviction.
4. The entire Movila case that led to my conviction, one of the abovementioned 6 cases, is based on one thing only: an alleged illegal deed of assignment of litigious rights which according to the prosecutors involved exceeding the legal limits of the underlying mandate signed 17 years ago in 2002. However, 4 civil court decisions showing the claimants’ actual rights in this case exist and were filed at the ICCJ at the hearing before the last. While the prosecutors did not see this evidence at the time of the investigation, and neither did the Court of Appeal of Bucharest, the court of first instance in this case, the Black Panel judges, subservient to the system, simply overlooked it. Moreover, even if the deed of assignment had been signed by exceeding the legal limits of the mandate, they would only have had a civil case with no grounds for criminal convictions. At most, said deeds and subsequent contracts could have been annulled. In addition, land titles were issued under Special Act 10, and art. 36 of this act clearly states the criminal consequences for breaking it during the process of recovery of possession by filing forged documents or claiming an illegal right of recovery. Such penalty has been time barred for many years now and said article was repealed in 2014. So naturally at present this alleged wrongdoing no longer bears criminal consequences. But the judges wrongly and absurdly interpreted this as aiding and abetting the abuse of office and ordered many years in prison 17 years after the crime was allegedly committed.
5. As for me, while no one understands in what way the employees of the City Hall of Constanta were guilty of abuse of office, I was charged with aiding and abetting the abuse of office although I literally did nothing. All I did was give power of attorney to Giurgiucanu Georgica to deal with the paperwork related to the recovery of possession under the law. This was my horrible crime! I did not file any document or petition, I did not receive any document, I did not sign anything. And, obviously, I did not talk with anyone. There is no evidence for these charges. It is unbelievable!
6. The Court of Appeal of Bucharest, the court of first instance, sentenced me to 3 years in prison with suspension of execution and the infamous ICCJ Black Panel presided by judge Ionut Matei – head of the ICCJ intelligence service – doubled the initial conviction, ordering 5 years and 6 months in prison WITHOUT ANY NEW EVIDENCE. Under the ECHR opinion and this court’s case law, this constitutes a violation of the right to a fair trial as guaranteed by art. 6, paragraph 1 of the European Convention on Human Rights. I am referring here to the conviction in my own case, but let it be said in passing that after 25 defendants were acquitted by the court of first instance, the higher court made of corrupt judges sentenced them to many years in prison without any new evidence, simply by absurdly reinterpreting the so-called evidence on file.
7. Even admitting that the offenses I supposedly committed and for which I was convicted actually existed, given the time that had passed since the so-called offenses the court of appeal, namely the ICCJ Black Panel, should have given a minimum conviction as provided by the law and suspended the prison sentence – as per the standard practice of the European Human Rights Court. At the time of the so-called crime I was 28. Now I am 45. This is about an alleged crime from 17 years ago. In light of the above, my attorneys explained that the conviction I was given under these circumstances infringes on the principle of opportunity of criminal trials as evidenced in EHRS case law.
8. As I showed above, I was convicted for aiding and abetting the abuse of office by public servants and sentenced to 3 years of suspended prison time, but the judge never issued a rationale and therefore I was unable to defend myself. The only reasoning given was contained in one sentence referring to my use of a deed of assignment that the court deemed as forgery because it was signed under a mandate whose limits had been exceeded, as I mentioned above. The court also found that I used this deed to determine the issuance of illegal land titles. This is not even true as all I did was give power of attorney. Moreover, with respect to the absence of rationale for the court decision above, this constitutes absolute grounds for quashing said decision and remanding it for retrial. Additionally, the court did not even rule on an offense I was charged with. As such, this decision given by the ICCJ Black Panel blatantly violates – in my case, at least – the OBLIGATION of the court to quash it and remand it for trial to the court of first instance under art. 421 point 2b of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Other than this article, the decision also violated Protocol no. 7 of the European Convention on Human Rights concerning the right to 2 degrees of jurisdiction in criminal matters.
9. Giurgiucanu’s case is the most comically absurd. As I said, both of our legal situations are directly linked. He was also charged with an offense that the court never ruled on, namely the use of forgery. He was, however, convicted just like me for aiding and abetting the abuse of office by using those deeds that were deemed forged – that is to say, for use of forgery, which the court did not rule on. In other words, he or least of all I could not have been convicted for aiding and abetting the abuse of office by using documents deemed as forged under the circumstances mentioned above as long as the court of first instance failed to even rule on the use of forgery. The only solution in this case was to QUASH AND REMAND FOR RETRIAL our entire case. Instead, and therein lies the comical absurdity I talked about, the judges quashed only part of the decision of the court of first instance that exclusively ruled on this offense and issued convictions for the resulting offense, namely the abuse of office. How did they charge someone with abuse of office by filing forged deeds when they did not rule on filing forged documents, i.e. the use of forgery, in the first place?
ALL the attorneys agreed on this opinion and the resulting mass conviction shocked everyone as ALL THE ATTORNEYS FAMILIAR WITH THE CASE DEEM IT AS ABUSIVE AND PROFOUNDLY UNLAWFUL.
10. In order for this decision to look more serious and include even more people, Judge Ionut Matei’s Black Panel also convicted me for being a part of an organized crime group, which is downright nonsense. Since there was no evidence for it to speak of, the court of first instance acquitted me and issued a crystal clear rationale. Also, in accordance with the EHRC decisions, this falls under the same violation of the right to a fair trial as guaranteed by art. 6, paragraph 1 in the European Convention on Human Rights.
11. The last explanation I would like to give about this case, and I hope this benefits anyone who is truly open to learning the truth, concerns Decision 148/2017 given by the Court of Appeal of Bucharest, the court of first instance. On page 184, the Court states the following: “The Court, although the proceedings to check the legal compliance of the Indictment have been closed, deems that said Indictment fails to clearly and concisely describe the offenses allegedly committed by the defendants in such a way that the Court may have an early understanding of what the charge is concretely and assess whether any motions made by the defendants and/or the prosecutor’s office to submit new evidence are founded or not – and such assessment relies on the complete understanding of the evidence with respect to the offenses that remain to be proven”.
The position of the EHRC in criminal matters is that detailed, exact and complete information regarding the charges brought against someone is an essential condition of the fairness of the proceeding, under art. 6, par. 3 in the European Convention for Human Rights. Consequently, the fact that the court of first instance only learned of this at the end of the trial has resulted not only in the violation of the right to receive complete information concerning the charges one is subject to, but also the violation of the right to two degrees of jurisdiction in criminal matters as guaranteed by art. 2 of Protocol no. 7 of the European Convention for Human Rights.
Well, then, great! The ICCJ Black Panel (composed of Ionut Matei – the Presiding Judge and head of the secret police within ICCJ, Ioana Bogdan – former advisor to the DNA Chief Prosecutor, Daniel Morar at the moment when the investigation started in this case in 2005-2008, promoted as judge at the ICCJ, what a happy coincidence – and Ioana Alina Ilie) understood the Indictment all too well, in any case better than the court of first instance and as a result dispensed a plethora of heavy convictions to everyone.
On a side note, although there are many public, written and spoken testimonies accusing him of issuing abusive decisions on command in the important cases he tried, Ionut Matei, Presiding Judge of the Black Panel has never been investigated. He was not even asked questions by judicial audit as it would normally happen in a democratic state governed by the rule of law like Romania claims to be. In any other truly democratic state with a solid justice system (not a joke, like in Romania), these extremely serious accusations would have been thoroughly investigated. Unfortunately, this situation is a reflection of the Romanian “democracy”, “justice” and “rule of law” which under the circumstances I DO NOT RECOGNIZE!
12. Finally, I was convicted for aiding and abetting the abuse of office but according to the record of the decision, as incorrect, abusive and illegal as it may be, I DO NOT OWE ANYTHING TO THE ROMANIAN STATE OR ANYONE ELSE BECAUSE I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE. You have been duly informed, dear journalists! Please find the record as published on the ICCJ website, read it carefully and report on it accurately. I am also respectfully asking some of you to stop making up stories.

CONCLUSIONS:
1. As it should be clear from the above, I am strenuously claiming my innocence and deem the decision of conviction given in the Land Restitution Case profoundly unlawful and abusive, at least as far as I am concerned. In support of this I have succinctly, albeit not as well as a professional, provided arguments that I believe should be considered. I am certain there are other arguments that may be provided, developed and explained by attorneys. They will be used once we begin the extraordinary remedies at law and before international courts. Clearly, many other defendants in this case have their own serious arguments that support my statements herein.
2. Although for many years I have felt the incredible public pressure on this subject made worse by the inaccurate and incomplete stories in the press, a press obsessed with red hot scoops, my attorneys advised me – wrongly, I can now see – to abstain from embarking on my own truth seeking campaign. It would have been only normal, even after the suspended sentence given by court of first instance, since I believe it was wrong anyway. I stupidly continued to have faith to the bitter end in the Romanian Justice and the judges in my case and their willingness to fight for truth. This is why I have not appeared in the media until now, I have kept my silence on this topic: I have discreetly allowed my attorneys to do their job of convincing the judges of my innocence. And I have allowed the judges to do their job of ruling correctly and lawfully, in the spirit and the letter of the law, undeterred by any kind of public influence from the defendants. Up to a point, I truly believed in the good faith of these judges.
3. Despite the obvious hostility shown by the panel of judges to the defendants, because of its magnitude the conviction decision came down like a bomb and shocked everyone, starting with the defendants. It was a real knock-out! No one in his darkest nightmares expected this decision. As horrible as the abuse they suffered may be, people cannot react too strongly from behind bars. Prison is a dark place where most of them were thrown unjustly and mercilessly. They were treated hatefully, with an aggressiveness that characterizes the Romanian society – more about that in a few days. From prison you cannot have opinions, talk back, and no one takes you seriously. Also, if you say too much and make too many waves, your life may be in danger.
4. I would like to quickly say a few things: I am a person of steadfast principles and I have a strong personality. I am a fighter: I would sooner give my life than back down, especially when facing injustice. The few people who truly know me also know that these are not just words. I refused to surrender to the Romanian authorities and serve time for an unjust and undeserved punishment given by corrupt judges who are part of a corrupt system, persons without a conscience and full of hatred against innocent people. I DO NOT RECOGNIZE THE CORRUPT JUDICIARY SYSTEM OF ROMANIA! I decided to fight to the end to prove my innocence and denounce the slaves of the unhealthy justice system of Romania. I will make sure this case is not only the object of constant debate in Romania, but also a very well-known international event, in order to alert the public opinion in the civilized world to the injustice, illegalities and mistreatment perpetrated by the current justice system in Romania. I will not stop until those who are truly guilty and corrupt, those who trample underfoot the lives of innocent people pay for it. As such, the absolute priority of my life has become finding a way to solve this problem by proving the mistreatment and injustice at any cost.
5. Anyone who thinks I am in fact at the beach on an island somewhere, relaxed and even amused at the situation is dead wrong. I chose to stay away from Romania for a while, working hard and worrying every day about finding legal ways to protect myself against the effects of this judicial abjection, and figuring out strategies in the fight against this horrific neo-Communist totalitarian system. What I chose to do is not cowardly as some may be tempted to think, but in fact an act of bravery. I am lucky that there are still legal ways to solve this problem as the last thing I want is to live as a fugitive for the rest of my life – this status is only temporary. One significant action I will take is to appeal the conviction decision at the EHRC. I have no worries about my ability to prove before the EHRC the abuse, injustice and violations of my rights; I am absolutely certain that the EHRC will issue a decision against the Romanian Government which will quash the conviction decision. However, the fact that this European Court takes so long to try cases is a huge problem. In addition, no action can formally be brought at the EHRC until after the Romanian judges issue the decision rationale. I have no doubt they will take their sweet time not only due to the high complexity of the case, as I mentioned above, but also because they will be hard pressed to come up with a reasoning so quickly and give a false color of lawfulness to their abusive decision. I also have no doubt they first determined the penalties using personal, not legal criteria – and now they have to provide a rationale for them.
It doesn’t really matter whether the EHRC will eventually prove you right if in the meantime you have served your sentence. You are already a compromised person who spent many years behind bars, your public image is ruined, your spirit is broken, your health is affected, your business is gone, your family life is torn apart and your family is deeply hurt and ravaged by pain and anguish. A meager glory, apologies and a few bucks as reparation after your entire life is devastated? Thank you, but no – this is not the way! Yes, the EHRC decision will be a relevant event that will forever close the discussion on this case, but it will not happen in the next few years!
6. As soon as the conviction decision was out and particularly after the news broke that I refused to surrender to the authorities, the sensationalist media simply ganged up on me, highlighting my lifestyle in a spiteful and tendentious manner. I have the right to live my life as I choose and I do not have to answer to anyone for it. So I would like to say to all the haters who dared to talk nonsense – WATCH OUT, DEAR JOURNALISTS – that my lifestyle has always been supported FROM MY OWN FUNDS MADE LEGALLY IN MANY YEARS OF HARD WORK, COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO THIS CASE. AND BY THE WAY I DID NOT MAKE ONE CENT IN THIS CASE EITHER! To support the latter statement, once again I refer you to the record of the conviction decision available on the ICCJ website which did not sentence me to pay anything to the government or any other person, except for the legal fees of 30,000 Lei. I suspect this will clearly convince anyone that my statement above is exact and that the stories some of you published were false.
7. I am extremely disappointed with the behavior of the media when they found out that I refused to surrender to the Romanian authorities to serve an unjust sentence given at the end of an abusive and illegal trial. The media viciously skewered me incessantly for an entire week, throwing around outrageous accusations and inaccuracies – I will make some additional clarifications on this topic in a few days. Nevertheless, I maintain a healthy dose of optimism despite the obvious rule of a corrupt justice system in Romania. My optimism is justified by the existence of a few people with a conscience and principles in the Romanian justice system. There are some left even at the High Court of Cassation and Justice. I am optimistically relying on fair judges who have not been recruited by this odious system, on changes to the legislation meant to correct the misuse of justice, on the political forces and the media fighting this scourge, and on the public that looks out for real justice.
8. These were a few of the things I needed to say to the public and the people who know me personally. In my current situation, this is the only means of communication I can afford. I wanted to proudly make these things clear given the harm that this conviction and my refusal to serve an unjust sentence have inflicted on my image. A part of the Romanian media has contributed to the detriment brought to my image as they talked about me in my absence in a biased and spiteful way. Finally, I wanted to clarify my position in this matter. In the next few days I will address some false, biased and spiteful information shamelessly purported by some Romanian media outlets.

For a man, a beautiful woman means almost everything. First, she is the muse. She inspires him, she gives him creativeness, she makes him understand the meaning of life. She makes him more human, a better man, his best version. She changes his existence, she shows him the beauty of the world, she gives him the strength to conquer the world. The beuatiful woman is man’s utmost drug. She brings addiction and insatiability. But physically she offers him everything that meet his instinctual needs, bringing him peace, relaxation, happiness. A beautiful woman is also the ideal mother of his children, and the one he wants close to him. This way she makes him complete.

Do you realize how much a man can offer in order to receive these things? If he finds the one, probably everything.

Over time, the responses given by the young and beautiful girls participating in Miss competitions became proverbial. Almost invariably, these girls claimed that the main motivation of their lives was to save the world or to make it better, thus prompting laughter from the audience, because it sounded at least hilarious. In a world of power and money held mainly by men, these ideas seem utopian, if not ridiculous. In any case, no one made light of such a statement said as a poem, coming from a beautiful girl.
But I came to realize that those who were laughing about such ideas stated by these young ladies – and I confess I was one of them – were seriously wrong.

The world we live in has a highly polarized social level, in which few people have assets and enormous influence, and the great mass of people is struggling at the limit of subsistence. The main deciders and power centers – mainly in the business world – are made up of men. They are those who can mobilize the most important financial resources. Personally, I met quite a lot, having some close friends among them. But I noticed something essential: women are the only persons having the power of influence over them! And especially the very beautiful ones, obviously due to the natural weakness of men in front of them. I think that an experienced person is aware of how great may be the influence of such a woman over the rich and powerful man she sits next to, without remembering the historical events that changed the world, due to the women that influenced some of the most important decisions taken by men.

Concretely, I wish I could make at least few women standing next to these men aware of the fabulous force they have at their reach, and of the extraordinary way in which it can be used. This natural force, combined with humanity, warmth and love – qualities that define a woman – can convince the most powerful, influencing and rich men to make gestures that can truly change the world. Allocating money or aids for a noble case or humanitarian activity, saving the life of sick children, providing food, medical assistance or shelters for some severely disadvataged categories of people, initiating humanitarian projects, etc, can make up truly noble purposes, which once achieved, can spiritually transform people and uplift them, can make a better world.

The wives of powerful men can do such things if they have this initiative and if they assign special time for it. Unfortunately, few do. But it’s not them who I want to refer to in the first place, but to that type of extremely beautiful and sexy girl which gets next to such a man, as his girlfriend, mistress, occasional partner or just courted woman. Usually, she lives in such an exorbitant luxury and she gets anything she wants from that man. And there are plenty of such examples. If such a person proposes to that man to do such a gesture, which she will handle to the smallest details, the chances to convince him will definitely tend to the fullest. Personally, I understood and I often saw with my own eyes how big may be a woman’s power to influence the decisions taken by a powerful man. Basically, it is the only determinant over him, backed up, of course, by the natural power of seduction a woman has. The more beautiful and intelligent a woman is, the greater is her power of seduction, and also her influence over a man. Almost without exception, the man will want to show the woman that he is human, that his financial power is large and that he can change human destinies in better, hoping to impress her and to earn her admiration or even her love. Because in certain situations, a man does almost everything for a beautiful woman.
If at some point, well chosen, the woman whispers to the man’s ear her kind request that he does a noble thing as a favor for her, she will certainly not be refused. Or if the woman he courts induces him the idea of convincing her of his humanity by making a certain gesture, then putting into practice of these extraordinary human things is guaranteed.

I admit that the inspiration for this idea came from the reality. I saw a noble gesture made by a beautiful woman who exercised her power over the rich and influencing man next to her. And he was glad to do it. The result is that today a large number of children from a very poor country have their food and healthcare provided for a long period of time. She impressed me and she gained my full respect, but she also made me realize the extraordinary power of a woman over a man, and how much she can change the world by using her own qualities.

Therefore, ladies, please believe me and please realize that you have the greatest power at your reach! The real power over a strong man! You have the power of doing incredible things! It lies within your powers to save people, to change destinies, to bring smiles on the faces of children and needy people, to truly make a better world. Mor than that, it is extremely easy for you. I don’t want to point out in detail the great advantages resulting from such a noble initiative. But I think that this way you save yourself, you save your soul, you give a real meaning to your life, you also save that man that almost certainly will not have such an initiative by himself (and there is a strong conflictual contradiction between the way of doing business at a very high level and doing such noble gestures), you help him by mitigating the natural hatred of the crowd of ordinary people on him, but also by attracting the sympathy and the respect of many, and – the most important – you help people and you really create the basis for a better world. Definitely not the least, this way you can earn the full respect of that man, and I dare to guarantee that you will mean a lot in that man’s eyes, much more than the beautiful woman he is physically attracted to.
I would be happy if this good thought was materialized by the most of you. I would declare myself irremediably conquered if I once understood that you have done all these things and that you have used all your qualities and your undeniable humanity. I know that most of you have, beside the physical beauty, that inner beauty that can earn hearts and save souls! Because nowadays only you can do such great deeds.

As for me, such a woman who gets to do or to contribute to such noble, human, full of kindness gestures can only earn my total respect for life, any other negative thing she would do would have almost no importance. In addition, it practically cancels all the preconceptions of the society towards them, and also any sense of guilt they might be dealing with.

By doing only such a thing in life, beside the happiness resulting from the gratitude and contentment of the man you helped, you, as a human being, will know deep in your heart that you have not lived in vain…

We find almost everyone on Facebook, with few exceptions. Some people really do not understand exactly the ‘benefits’ of being present here. Others fell behind or they have never had a social networking profile. From clerics – who avoid Facebook for religious reasons – to young girls practicing ‘underground’ escort service who can run the risk of being identified, then from people who do not want to align themsleves with the big trend, just to be ‘different’, to those who reject Facebook out of snobbery, on the grounds that they are ‘at another level’. The latter prefer instead Instagram – where they limit themselves only to pictures and videos, or LinkedIn – an elitist and select network, but which loses much of real society’s ‘vibe’.

Through Facebook you can find out who you are talking to and you can also identify yourself. It is interesting that, using Facebook you can get to know people and you can ‘see’ them, even if they don’t want to identify themselves as they are in reality, because they often let the cat out of the bag. By the lack of style – which, obviously, they are not aware it’s missing – through naughty and absolutely inappropriate pictures – which they do not appreciate as being so, – by revealing some activities, entourages or circles of close friends, from which the necessary conclusions are drawn – obviously without that people’s will and often to their detriment – based on the “man is known by his friends” principle. The conclusions can often be drawn also because of the absence of the user’s ‘opinion’ manifested by the lack of statuses, when the user reduces his activity only to posting pictures and videos. For an intelligent man who knows how to ‘read between the lines’, everything becomes an entertainment.

Let’s particularize it a little. So, what conclusion can be drawn after seeing the profile of a gorgeous young lady, who graduated from faculty or not, but whom you see impecably dressed, striking the eye with Vuitton or Hermes bags, expensive watches, valuable jewelry, having pictures in exotic locations, on yachts or private jets, etc. … but without ever seeing her boyfriend? Obviously, there are various different readings. One of them is that her loved one is very shy and not too photogenic… :))))) Another one, less facetious, is that he is married. More than likely, not to her. Another hypothesis is that there is not just one lover, but more of them. And another one, that there are many lovers, but she has an extremely pragmatic nature… :)) To be honest, if I were in these distinguished persons’ shoes, I would not post any picture, doubly so as they pretend to be respectable ladies. But the temptation of parade is great, and sometimes it helps in this branch. How? Simply, their quotation increases, as well as the respect from their rivalry. ;) Certainly, these appearances can deceive, and the conclusions I refer to can be completely wrong. Although I personally know an example which says no to the stereotype of the above-mentioned conclusions, the probability of fallacies is extremely small.

We can hear in mind important details from the pictures. You can see their faces and facial expressions – things that say a lot. However, many people let essential details escape in their own posted photos. Remaining in the young ladies’ area, next to the pictures displaying an incredible luxury, I often see other pictures that actually provide a true and complete picture of the person. For example, the kind of pictures that depict them in extremely modest family home with mother wearing kerchief and father pausing from wood cutting, with the ax in his hand … Nothing to blame in this, but conclusions stand out a mile … Still on personal photos, on many profiles we can easily see that among beautiful photos there are also less successful pictures, some I would say even disastrous. At that point you can not stop wondering about the intelligence and real taste of the persons in question. Some essential details are the look, the attitude, the mimics. Sometimes everything seems fine, but I met many cases when one picture posted could remove almost all the „gloss” of the carefully-built profile, exposing therefore the sad reality about the beauty, the style and the intelligence of that person. To end with the pictures, it is obvious that they can provide all kinds of information and even subtle details for a careful eye – many of them overlooked – such as the real physical appearance, the circle of friends, the real financial or social status, the style, the level of education and culture, the common sense, the decency or the lack of it, the real concerns, the level of understanding life, and even the spiritual level.

Facebook provides information about how people with whom we come into contact really are and which is their intellectual, educational or perception of life level, based on the statuses they post. Obviously, the delivered idea or ideas is elemental. But we will draw important conclusions from their wording, finishing the evaluation with the simple test of the hyphen. ;)
Related to statuses, we can easily discover the frustrated persons. They are usually very aggressive and ‘upset’ by many. They hate many people and they flood you with battleful posts, having in the background revolutionary ideas to fundamentally change the society as a whole, by any means. Because the society is not good for them and because in their eyes some people, perhaps even the most, should completely disappear. Staying on the frustrated people subject, on a different category, we can easily locate them through the fake profiles behind which they hide. In my opinion, they are the kind of people that need urgent specialist psychological help.
It is interesting to observe some people’s language related to their various moods. I note with amusement the colorful language of some ‘ladies’ who, based on some situations they live, completely forget this quality they claim they have. Many of them let unallowable scurrilities blurt out, too vulgar words or extremely embarrassing attitudes. I could propose a language exercise for such moments. For example, instead of telling an individual who has seriously disappointed you by his behavior – ” I’m shocked what a red neck you are!”, you can say ”I was surprised by your behavior with strong rustic accents” or instead of ” You are really an easy woman, I don’t give a damn on you” you could say ”I understood your materialism and direct interest, and and you have sunk to the lowest level in my estimation”, while ” You’re just a stupid illiterate” could be replaced with ”Your level of understanding and information leaves much to be desired’, etc. :)))

Going deeper, we can observe few things based on a brief psychological study. We see people who are posing with famous books or art, trying to draw attention to the ‘high’ intellectual level. However, a fine observer will understand the frustration and the ‘lies’ behind these photos, posted by these individuals in order to seem at a higher intelectual level than they actually are. A separate chapter is composed of various characters – both men and women – who, in a terrible lack of studies, concepts, thinking or even minimal knowledge, pretend to be erudites, philosophers or thinkers, becoming severily ridiculous. They are the kind of persons who post only philosophical quotes copied from the internet, and who aberrant, but confidently comment on various ideas that exceed by far their capabilities of understanding, having serious gaps in both their choice of words and the knowledge of grammar and punctuation.
As an aside, at few of the truly erudite ones I noticed even a form of intellectual snobbery, that often strikes due to excessive use of extremely demanding and elevated words, that even many generalists may sometimes need to look them up in the dictionary. True though, such characters, whose blogs are read by many, are quite rare on Facebook.
In the same chapter, however, we can see how many people unmask their various frustrations and complexes – and they are in fact the majority – trying to ‘show’ to their fellow men what places they get to see sometimes, where they go on holidays, what hotels they stay at, what restaurants they eat at, the company of important or famous persons, or what events they participate to. I consider these things as part of normal psychology of contemporary man, who is constantly in competition and everyone’s desire to show people they reached a certain social level, which everybody craves for, depending on their level of understanding and existence in society.

On Facebook there is also the brotherhood of those who have professional profiles, with exclusive image and advertising interests, but we are also flooded by the public profiles of pseudo-personalities nobody has ever heard of, or if so, they do not matter from any point of view.

I saw very few people on Facebook – but fortunately they are and I have a few in my list – posting special things, videos or links that worth watching, great ideas. They are people serving some noble causes, people who set themselves up as good examples for others or who have an inclination for art, beautiful things, culture, spiritual things. As for me, as a weakness, I have a sympathy for people with great talent working in the film industry and I can gladly count some of them trough my friends on Facebook.

We can find on Facebook a few people absolutely dubious, with a doubtful level of education and culture, also ‘poisoned’ by everything that material values mean. I intentionally kept a few on my list, because they are absolutely shocking by their level of ignorance, guts, language and ideas about life. Viewing them sometimes, besides a bitter form of entertainment, you realize more easily the huge differences between people and how close to an animal can a man be sometimes, as a manifestation of the basic instincts.

I cannot omit the basic quality of Facebook, which allows the ‘socialization’. Apart from identifying friends, old acquaintances or colleagues, you can meet many people of the opposite sex, some people finding even his/her ‘half’ this way. Definitely though, the most important quality of Facebook refers to finding occasional ‘halves’. ;) I will have a separate article on this subject.
I would like to recall its quality of online information, on people’s opinions about various topics to date, or certain popular trends, social or political, with a significant impact among users.

Another aspect – Only ordinary material things are found Facebook, rarely something special and qualitative, or something real style or class. From this perspective Facebook is pretty outdated, filled with trivial matters. Sure, intelligent things may also be seen, but they are all copied! Extremely rare you can see posts containing original clever ideas, coming from the user’s own mind, which can really surprise you. Or deep feelings disclosed, or originality through creative pursuits style. Everything is copied – it’s so easy to get on the internetnet, to look for famous quotes and to post them on your own profile showing the ‘bending’ to deep things … It’s extremely easy, within a less intellectually developed person’s grasp, which gives him/her the opportunity to pretend to be someone else. Sure, there are some who lose some time – or get others to do it – and select quotes or certain interesting ideas from the internet, dealing in addition with ‘framing’ them in different pictures, offering a cheap appearance of originality, being shared by many after that. It is true, these things also have their role, but don’t you think we are a bit bored of all this ‘wrapping’?

So much of Facebook … Otherwise, some videos that seem interesting and that arrouse your curiosity, and in the end you realize it was just a waste of time and very rarely something that is worth watching. There are few who post several funny videos but unfortunately they fall too often into ridiculous and awkward, and we also find some lads who are even famous on Facebook – who write, in an already redundant style, few very juicy and soupy things that make a hit on certain representatives of the fair sex, who passed through some disappointments and suffering in love and who probably remember with nostalgia their lost loves.

Another thing – pictures from Sinaia, Predeal, or from the sea, and photos in a club – where there’s absolutely nothing to see and nothing of great quality. Feeling ‘do not know how’ for flying to Paris or Dubai, or for eating something I obviously take a picture of first, or feeling more cheerful or sad.

To conclude, the biggest problem about Facebook is that serious mistake – wasting time and memory on absolutely trivial and useless things. ‘Staying’ on Facebook is really just the time totaly lost, that is stopping you from evolving and is capping you, a subject I have already written about…

Yeah, I forgot about the check-ins…. hahaha

We currently live in a deeply material world that has forgotten everything about: kindness, warmth, love, morality, principles of humanity and even God. Money is the supreme King of society. […]

We currently live in a deeply material world that has forgotten everything about: kindness, warmth, love, morality, principles of humanity and even God. Money is the supreme King of society. Everyone’s a craze for money. We attend and participate in an ongoing struggle in our society, with any weapons. Despite the technological development, people have become much worse, more frustrated, more bitter in social struggles. We act as in a jungle. Only few of us have moral rules. The only rules are the laws that are complied with only by fear. There are almost no examples of clean, moral, principled people. We rarely see dignity. However, these few exceptions are lost in a sea of embarrassment and compromise. We observe powerless the promotion of tenuity, bad taste, non-values, raised in time to the rank of examples. At the ‘top’ notch of our society there is almost no honor, no word, no morals, no faith. Demagogy, hypocrisy and lies dominate. We are addicted to television, press and internet. The vast majority summarizes its existence to material life and does everything just to ‘live the moment’, believing that is the only purpose of life.
From a spiritual perspective, however not very demanding, I appreciate the overall picture of the society we live in today looks pretty pathetic.

       1. On a spiritual level, for some time I ”suffer” from inner feeling that is based on emotions, experiences, and a certain way of understanding life. This is the source of certain spiritual and human thoughts, which I sometimes wish to share with others because I know they are deep and clean. And that they can produce inner vibration. And I also know that sometimes the inner vibration of the person beside you can make you vibrate, too. Then, this kind of feeling and a nice way of thinking may be examples for people, and even ideals. They can reveal a human way of seeing life, focused on the things that really matter, which rise above the material. I do not propose being an opinion maker, although at some point such a thing can become an ideal, but I think that a first objective can be unveiling an example to see things from a different perspective, an example of acting and reacting differently from the majority in this superficial world.

Although I am active in the material world on a daily basis, I think I can reveal some depth born out also from experience, but especially from my own feeling. I feel as if some ideas are understood by people around, it will make them ask themselves questions about their way of seeing life. Questions that can lead to waking up the consciousness. My hope is that, reflecting on such things and even pausing a moment from the madness and the tempest of the life they live, some people can become better and cleaner. For this kind of ideas and shared experiences can open the valves of the soul. Sure, I’ll explain in more detailed articles exactly what I refer to.

In addition, I understood what I can pass on to people. I look around to the miserable society in which we have come to live, totally impoverished of value and principles, full of malice, envy and even hatred, flooded by tenuity and devoided of humanity and decency. I can not and do not want to adapt to such awkward trends and I know that there are enough good people who think the same, but which can not resist the scourge of materialism, superficiality and moral filth that surrounds the entire society. Quality people seem to be a different species, endangered of extinction. Affected, they endure society trend on a daily basis, as if they are waiting for something. But that something can not occur overnight. That something, that refusal of enrollment in the trend, can only come from the attitude of rejection, manifested by most of us.

       2. A personal reason for which I decided to launch this blog is that generally I am perceived completely different from the way I am. Activating in the world of business for so long, a completely material one, it’s normal that people categorize you as one. That’s what happened to me to the full. With the launch of this blog which actually equates to disclosing the inner me, I think many will be highly surprised. No where they can suspect my inclination towards things of real value, non-material, towards principles and knowledge. Quite the opposite. They only saw a false glow, completely material, often embarrassingly painted by the tabloids, in their usual tone. Normally, this thing should not even interest me. But I am interested very much in terms of communication and relationship with people of real value both in my homeland and throughout the world , people that I already know, or that I will know in the future.

I believe I have something to pass on to the bystanders. That is why today, more than ever, I appreciate any personal achievement that the public gets to note, for I know that because of these important achievements there is a chance that some of the public becomes more interested in the ideas, thoughts and the principles of life I want to present on this blog. People will wonder what does a person who has succeeded in a particular field have to say or to pass on to the society. With that achievement, that person earns the quality of being heard and even of being taken into account. Although initially this quality can only be translated by arousing curiosity, it represents an important quality. Sure, I have no doubt that I will be analyzed, criticized and even attacked because of the presented ideas, but it is a risk I already assumed with all my trust and openness.

       3. It is said that one’s mission on this Earth is to build a house, plant a tree and have a child. Personally, I think this is very little. I think the role of a person able to think is also to leave to his fellow men some of his thoughts, his feelings, his conclusions. In fact, this is how the human society has evolved. It is everyone’s way to contribute to the material or spiritual evolution. From a different perspective, I think it is enough to any normal human being to remember for a moment certain feelings, emotions, or to acknowledge the Divine existence, for his attitude towards his own life, or his fellows to change in better. The things I refer to transform us and bring us again, at least for the moment, to our initial quality which we forget so often, being HUMANS.
Unfortunately, these days there are very few people who have inner determination to do such things, that can pose in good examples for the bystanders, not having political or social interests, or of any other nature. And I am not happy about this at all. Personally, however, I feel I have something to offer in this respect. Having no writing experience, I’d consider a huge success being able to describe in an accurate and understandable manner what I feel and think.

Beside these things, this blog could be a tool of demanding criticism on certain social issues. I notice the media promotes a lot of dirts and embarassing subjects. The same media, eager to sell, flings mud on subjects and many persons of real value. Everything is thrown in an embarassing blender, contaminated by various interests. And there are very few who take action! There are extremely few those wo ammend the lameness, speak their mind with courage, decency and fairness, and correct even a small part of infamy. Despite the fact that there are a lot of persons who, having common sense and decency, totally disagree to what they see. They are deeply disgusted and they can do nothing about it. They don’t even have a way to express themselves. I would be delighted to gather on this blog people of real value, with whom I can communicate and exchange normal, profound, human, intelligent ideas. In addition, such a blog can score moments, actions, events and attitudes of real quality, that were passed over by the media, which unfortunately promotes only what it sells better – lameness, tenuity, immorality.

I hesitated a long time to decide to launch this blog. At one point I asked myself if it was necessary to intervene with such attitudes and thoughts in this huge superficial. I thought it would be a waste of time. And yet … There are enough people of value, people who still respect the true values and who feel besieged by the flood of non-value, tenuity, dehumanization. In fact, they are the only people who can still do something about changing for the better of the society we live in. They also have children, or will have and they are probably terrified by the gloomy prospects of their lives in such type of society. Besides them, many people are spiritually and morally ‘asleep’, hibernating. They ‘adapted’ to the realities of life, they accepted that ‘this is the situation’. I’m sure that certain things, those I mentioned above, can wake them up, cand activate them, can make them refuse to adapt to this moral standard imposed by the society and can make them remember who they are, what they really are, how they were born and which are their true ideals, true values, they can make them cleaner, more dignified, more human. And, with a minimal change or awakening of those people, in turn, they can influence others for the better, they can make them become better.

In an extremely brief manner, over time I posted some ideas on my Facebook profile. With some exceptions, this is not the audience I wish to address to, although at a certain point the ideas I expose are addressed to everybody. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that enough comments were coming from people who understand things correctly and deeply, with arguments and counter arguments presented extremely elegant. Quite a few have commented off-topic, not understanding enough of my exposures, but still in decent limits. And others were just beside the point, showing extreme superficiality. They were usually the most critical and I would say the worst. I understand everyone, on their level of understanding. Some people managed to surprise me with an absolutely high level of understanding and intellectual and spiritual preparation, debating issues with them happening in a pleasant and constructive manner.
Sure, at another level, I will meet on the blog about the same types of people. I hope more well-prepared people, capable of such disputes and intelectual debates will join in. It will be a real pleasure to talk to each of them. I am ready to debate with them.

„Debate with the fool! You won’t achieve fame, nor benefits anyway… But why not having fun sometimes?
Debate with a man your size: no matter who wins, you have at least the satisfaction that you fought.
Debate with a man beneath you; debate not for the desire of winning, but for the one of helping.
Debate with a man smarter than you: he will win … But though you lose, you get something that will help you.”

I.S. Turgheniev
