Am revenit de curand in tara, probabil pentru scurt timp... Inca din avion, am vazut fetele triste si incrancenate ale romanilor. Dar am incercat sa ma uit la cativa si am zambit. Ce credeti? Unii au zambit inapoi, iar pe altii i-am inspirat sa faca glume. Nu stiu cum am reusit, dar macar pentru moment, le-am schimbat starea de spirit.
Sunt (pentru a cata oara?) socat de cat de rai sunt oamenii. Nu o sa mai revin pe subiect, am mai scris despre asta. Dar cred ca in aceasta lume plina totusi de lipsuri, probleme, frustrari si mai ales rautate, singura solutie este bunatatea. Sunt constient cat e de greu,...

I recently returned to my country, probably not for long. Ever since I entered the plane, I could see the sad and bitter faces of the Romanians. I tried to look at some of them and I smiled. Guess what? Some smiled back at me; others got inspired and made some jokes. I don’t know how I did it, but even for a short moment, I have changed their mood.
I am (for the “n” time) shocked by how mean people can be. I will not return to this subject, I wrote about it before. But I do believe that in this world full of shortcomings, problems, frustrations and especially malice, the only solution is kindness....

Kant si-a dat seama ca ceea ce omul percepe nu este realitatea. Este doar o forma conceptualizata a realitatii data de simturile omului, de modul in care acesta o percepe prin aparatul neuronal, aceasta nefiind decat o imagine, o himera, o fictiune, provenita din mintea noastra plina de diverse concepte. Mai mult decat atat, omul nu poate intelege dincolo de versiunea procesata data de propriul creier, nefiind nicio modalitate de a ‘’vedea’’ ce se afla cu adevarat acolo, inainte de aceasta procesare perceptiva si intelectuala.

Kant realized that what man perceives is not reality. It is only a conceptualized form of reality, given by man’s senses, by the way he perceives it through his neuronal apparatus, for reality is only an image, a chimera, a fiction that comes from our mind full of different concepts. Moreover, a man cannot understand beyond the processed version given by his own brain, for there is no way of “seeing” what is really there, before this perceptive and intellectual processing.
Schopenhauer approves him but he also makes some additions, by realizing that we can perceive that entity in its reality...
