I just read a few articles and reviews about some persons who are really special to me, people I know, who have real value and who have succeeded in life.
I see regularly people’s viciousness and frustrations for those who have succeeded. Many such frustrations are revealed through the press. It throws mud and venom in those who obviously are above the rest, in many respects: image, beauty, brilliance, charisma, socially, financially, intellectually, etc. Or who simply are different; in a way that most people cannot be. This ‘sport’ is practiced for two reasons: it meets the frustration of those who actually do it and it satisfies the frustration of most readers, attracting audiences. And for some years, any bitter illiterate or any stressed gal can comment on the internet and can even offend, throwing dirt in its turn, and even insults. On those sites nobody is cleaning among them or at least among their posts. This suits everyone, for they feed themselves with it.
They fail to understand that those who succeeded have something, from somewhere, that they don’t have, nor will they ever have. Perhaps because, instead of being focused on their own development, their own life, the main concern of these people lies in the denigration of those around them, of those who have succeeded.
Unfortunately, it is a general phenomenon. But very, very much enhanced around here….
