Un om nu este niciodata fericit, ci isi petrece intreaga viata straduindu-se sa obtina ceva ce crede ca il va face fericit; isi atinge rareori obiectivul, iar atunci cand o face nu obtine decat o mare dezamagire: starea de fericire nu tine decat o clipa. Alergand dupa fericire ajunge in timp doar o epava, iar atunci nici nu mai conteaza cat a fost de fericit sau nefericit. Fericirea lui nu a fost niciodata mai mult decat o clipa, care a disparut mereu. Mai mult decat atat, realizeaza atingerea acestei stari mult prea tarziu, cand deja starea respectiva a trecut.
